Getting drunk on a weekly basis is kind of worrying, I think. It's one thing to drink socially weekly, but to get drunk off your ass every week...that suggests a problem to me.

Anyway, I hope I'm wrong. I just hope this is a pastime that you give up when you move back stateside.

I get drunk once a week every week. I've done it for like the last 8 years. When we have money we go to a bar, when we were broke in NYC we'd grab 40s. I'm not blacking out and waking up in some strangers bed, but I get drunk and have a crazy, fun time. Go dancing or whatever. I'm sorry you don't seem to be having as much fun as everyone else.

I have a good friend who is an alcoholic. Her drinking greatly interferes with her life, and dealing with her can be hell. From what GilloD has shared, he's nowhere close to being one.
