^ !!!! crap, I forgot about friggn Kinect.

I just thought a Wii would be the best option for a kid his age is all. He has learning difficulties so my old man said he needed something to improve his co-ordination and problem solving skills. Navigating the Wii menu improves those. And he really likes Okami, which is on Wii

He doesn't have a PS2? fair nuff. I'd probably recommend Ninty for younger gamers too tbh.

At six, a Wii is the only option.  Just make sure to tell your dad to avoid the shovelware and load it up with lots of good virtual console games.   :P

hes got my other brothers PS2 and my copy of Okami atm, Im sure he'd want to play waggle version tho.

Yeah I said theres tons of garbage on the system but some real cool stuff like Mario Galaxy and Kororinpa for the kids. I'll definitely tell him to get OG Mario Bros too

Yeah hook him up with some good Virtual Console stuff for sure. Or better yet, just throw some emulators on there

I feel sorry for today's kids. There's hardly any quality family friendly games being made these days. Almost every single quality game out there is rated t or m. compare to when we were kids and it's night and day. Either it's nintendo or nothing.
