Removing this stuff is simple.

hit 'Start', 'run', type 'msconfig'. Go to the start up tab and look for some usually "bogus" filename like vvlrqqqch.exe and notice the path to the filename.

Navigate to the folder and delete everything you can. You will not be able to delete most of it because it's "in use".

Boot into safe mode or for hardcore shit, boot to a command prompt, navigate the path and remove the whole folder. If you cannot delete it from a command prompt it's time to format.
After it's deleted, THEN run a scan to clean up remnants that are likely installed into your system restore files.
There are bastard children viruses that do not allow you into MSCONFIG. YMMV
