-MvC3's getting more characters announced (they seem to have been already unveiled)
-SSF4's testing in J-arcades right now.  Two extra character slots.  Likely gonna be Rolento and R. Mika, but other names are bouncing around as always.
-All signs point to there being some Capcom and Namco crossover game.  Some rumors say there will be two, one from each company.
-Darkstalkers still has a chance?  I kinda doubt it.   :'(

I am hoping it's Namco Vs. Capcom and NOT Tekken Vs. Street Fighter.

But if they are going that route, play differently than TvC or Marvel, please.  A CvS2 style game would be cool.

Anyway, no reason to go all  if you don't like the way Tekken plays, because if it's Capcom doing the game, it wouldn't play that way.

Meh.  Third Strike was easily surpassed by SFIV, good luck parrying with online latency.

Parrying works fine on GGPO, and 3rd Strike isn't even fully supported on there. Once they port it to XBLA it should be flawless.

SF4 is the better game though for sure. 3S online probably won't do anything for the community (ie. it will probably stay dead) but it will be a fun diversion.
