This just happened an hour ago and Hall H is still locked down by the cops.

Around 4:45 after the Resident Evil panel was over and before the Marvel Studios panel some idiots decided to try to muscle two people out of their seats. The two sitting down refused to move so the guy who really wanted the seats began attacking them and stabbed out their eyes with his pen. He and the girl he was with were dragged out of Hall H in cuffs with their con exclusive Harry Potter shirts drenched in blood.

Yeah. Favreau's direction isn't special but it has a very very good cast. Kurtzman & Orci wrote it and then Damon Lindelof re-wrote it. And Steven Spielberg is producing it. No reason to dismiss it yet.

I am intrigued by the concept and especially the Ford/Craig/Rockwell team up.

If there is one thing Favreau is good at on his mediocre Iron Man films is he allows a lot adlibbing. Which with a cast like this leaves a lot of room for some fun material.

Orci & Kurtzman wrote Star Trek which I enjoyed, and unlike most of theie films the head writer of Lost did a draft on this after.

Oh and not every movie Spielberg produces is at the quality level of Transformers.

BTW at the Green Lantern panel someone asked if DC would do their movies connected like the Marvel ones. And Geoff Johns definitely hinted at it and a Justice League movie done like Avengers. He said the how GL does will drive what DC does in the future.

Yeah. And Superman. Nolan said both franchises as long as he is overseeing them will never co-exist in the same universe. I mean WB could do it after he is bored with the franchises but they'd have to recast and all of that (Bale, Oldman, etc all say they wont do the movies without Nolan) and it'd be far easier to just reboot it. Plus trying to use Nolans worlds would likely piss off Nolan quite a bit and WB wants to keep Nolan in house.

I suspect both Batman and Superman we be rebooted after Nolan gets his hands off of them to be more..comic booky in line with the more light hearted looking Green Lantern.
