Spielberg sci-fi, go watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind, it's the only good sci-fi movie he's ever done (E.T. is really more of a fantasy).

Maybe, but "pre-crimes police JUST LIKE IN MINORITY REPORT" has kinda slipped into the cultural vocabulary. Also, the 3D GUI is still constantly referred to to this day. Neither speak really to the quality of the movie itself, but I don't think it's been as forgotten as some might think.

Close Encounters is my favorite Spielberg movie. The BluRay of it is great.

The third cut is the best. It incorporates the added scenes of the special edition minus the un-needed view of inside the ship that Sony forced Spielberg to add when they let him go back and finish up the movie. I've never seen the special edition and never will, we weren't meant to know what the inside of the ship was supposed to look like and so I don't want to know.
