Red Dons was the headliner. I knew about them but never really paid them much attention. big mistake. tight well crafted punk songs with killer on stage charisma.

Night Birds are a surf revival but on the thrashier side. Lots of fun. Guitarist kept throwing himself into the pit and thrashing around, unfortunately i was shoved up into a corner and couldn't get many good shots

Pregnant are punk, but it's kind of softer, without being dull. Very good. They had a line up shuffle since I last saw them and their new material is killer.

Beer is better for social events, particularly ones that might involve people you don't know whom you might need to interact with. Weed is easily the better alternative if you're just looking to be highly entertained for a few hours. I took a shower while high for the first time a few weeks ago. Pretty sure I didn't really accomplish anything in there, but man, it was awesome.
