For phones, Verizon generally has better service but it probably varies by area.

The best fast food is probably Taco Bell if you're a student.  Open late, cheap, and tastes good.

As far as laptop goes, all I can tell you is that it's cheaper than in SA.

Verizon works just as well in remote areas. We've got cabins out on the coast and up in the mountains, and service is just fine.

You know what's funny about Montana (and pretty much all I know about the state) is when there's an online poll for something, and they show you a map of every state and where they lie with the rest of the country. Montana is always greyed out because not enough people vote there   It tells you a lot about that place imo.
