It's the other way around. After all, the structure is:

* When reading Japanese;
  * First, break the text down into lines
     * then, read each line top to bottom
         * then, progress to the next line right-to,loeft

so you see, it's top to bottom then right to left

Sorry.  By "the other way around" I meant the first way I mentioned.

See, I guess the "we are sad that we are rich kids with no real problems" was meant as satire, but it's a genuine issue. Between April and three weeks ago, I was actually reasonably happy because I had to concentrate on finding a job. Before that, I hated my job, but at least that gave me a focal point for my misery (I also ended up working 80-hour-weeks half the time, which left me with not much time left over to be depressed). Now that I have a job that (so far) I enjoy and also pays well and actually lets me get out at 5, I have no idea what to do with the rest of my life anymore and that makes me actually feel a lot more miserable than I did when I was unemployed or when I had a horrible job.

Having you considered playing videogames and masturbation as a long-term life goal? It seems to work for most people here.

You must secretly enjoy 80 hr work weeks too. When I work normal 40 hour work weeks, I feel I have no excuses for the lack of motivation or time, and I feel like a lazy ass or something. But you hear people say, "I work for a living, I don't have time to blah blah blah." and they probably work 40 hours. But I feel like a complete tool if I'm exhausted or just don't want to do something and use work as an excuse when I'm only working 40 hours.

But laying in bed right now, eating this BK ham, egg, cheese croissanwich instead of being at work makes me not really give a fuck so.... Maybe you should try that.

Dogs (and husbands) can be a handful, plus you don't have to tell people that.
