This happened a month ago, I believe. A bunch of streaming sites had gotten taken down (around 10). I don't know of any at the moment, I mean, the day I found out about NinjaVideo was glorious. A glorious, glorious day.

Now back to torrents  :'(

www.surfthechannel.com most are megauploads so you can only watch 72minutes at a time  :-\

I never actually used ninjavideo when it was up, whenever I went there it asked me to download some app and between doing the legwork to see if it was legit and just saying f it and dl'ing the torrent I just picked the later. Did you actually have to dl something or was I doing something wrong?

All you needed was an Online DIVX player and possibly the correct codecs. Had that and you'd be able to stream anything on the site.

I use surfthehannel to find links to stuff on megavideo too. Just need to reset your modem every 72 mins if you're marathoning tv series. Or wait 50 mins for the site to let you watch more :-(

that's was always my problem with megaupload - i really tend to poopsock series and watch like 5 episodes in a sitting.

They had high quality stuff up like 30 minutes after it hit the trackers. It was pretty convenient to instantly stream one thing after another rather than having to deal with poorly seeded torrents and all that crap.

On the other hand, the people that ran the site were a bunch of stupid jackoffs, so whatever

as for the actual topic its been dead for i while as i remember one of my friends was sad about its demise for a while.

They should have stuck with television shows. It's funny because usually Ninja Video's movie section was pretty weak, whereas the TV shit was glorious.

pirating movies is like gangsters moving from women and gambling to drugs. gets the feds involved every time  :-\

I can't even parse that, but it's hilarious.

What I love is renting or buying a DVD and getting it home, putting it in the player, and watching a two minute advertising segment telling me it's wrong to pirate. Those ads are always clipped off from anything you download off the net. Unless the ripper has a sense of humor.
