Hey guys, remember in the pre-season when Dallas, Minnesota and Washington were all serious contenders for the Super Bowl?

Good times, good times.

The St. Louis Rams will probably make the post-season, but not the Cowboys.  :'( :'(

I have to win today to make the playoffs. My opponent has Aaron Rogers who's out with a concussion... there is a football god watching over me.  :D

I guess since Fox figured no one would be watching the 49ers-Seahawks game they'd try to spruce it up a bit by adding some Michael Bay-esque music to the proceedings. As if the assigned F grade announcers weren't bad enough the last thing I need to hear is the Armageddon soundtrack over this fiasco. Seriously, what the fuck Fox.  Never, ever do this shit again.

Wow, Patriots D got good all of a sudden and Brady is still playing like a madman.  They still don't look as dominant as their championship days but neither does any other team.

Few weeks ago people were saying no team looked dominant this season. Patriots have destroyed that argument over the last two weeks

Ok duders... I need your help in the playoffs...

My running backs are the following:

Ronnie Brown -- going against Buffalo this week... very tempting.
Adrian Peterson -- Monday night against Chicago... doesn't feel like a good idea.
Rashard Mendenhall -- Going against the Jets.

Which two should I go with?

Also, same question for my receivers:

Greg Jennings -- Rogers is out, not sure how the new QB is gonna do.
Larry Fitzgerald -- Playing the godawful Panthers, but Arizona doesn't have a QB.
T.O. -- He's turning into a drama queen again, but he did well against CLE earlier in the year.
Anquan Boldin -- Up against New Orleans, seems like a dumb move.
Hines Ward -- Meh.

Pick three!

Pick three!

Peterson and Mendenhall imo; Brown has has more fumbles than TDs in his last few games. Jets/Steelers will be a defense slog, but it's not outrageous to think Mendenhall can get a goal line TD in the game. Peterson...eh, always gotta start him imo.

WRs...T.O. and...dunno, maybe Boldin or Jennings? Jennings almost had a TD against the Lions last week, and generally makes good plays. Their QB sucks but not more than whoever starts for Arizona.

I'm starting T.O. as well, mainly out of desperation. He had a huge game against Cle last time.

I just watched that last touchdown.  Jackson acted like an ass by taking his sweet time crossing the line but it was hilarious.  It's always entertaining to see NY teams choke and make their fans act like it's the end of the world.

Btw, Tim Tebow finally started at QB and is doing surprisingly decent.   :o

I thought so too at first, but think he was making sure he ran out the clock but didn't put himself in a position to risk the TD.

Though I do HATE pre-TD celebrations - cross the line, then do your dance.

Dear Jesus, please do me a favor and make sure the Seahawks don't do something fucking stupid over the next two games - like win.

With a 6-10 record, they might have a shot at drafting either Ryan Mallet or Cam Newton.  I'll take either or.

Some fans are bitching over the win streak and what it does to our draft position. I think there's a good chance we beat Minny next week, bringing us to 6 wins - which puts somewhere between the 7th and 10th pick I guess.

I'm fine with that. Sure I want Patrick Peterson or Prince Amukamara to upgrade the secondary, but I also want to see the team win competitive games, which is what we've finally started doing; I'm glad we're finally seeing some shit go our way. We'll be in a position to take the best available player, I'm fine with that. And someone everyone assumes to be a top 5 pick always falls. Maybe we get Peterson or Amukamara anyway. Hell maybe we get a good LB, or another solid defensive lineman.

As it stands at the time of this post, the Eagles vs. Vikings is 7-13 in the third quarter.  Bloodwake needs another 35.3 points to win the EBFF1 playoffs.

I was torn on this one.  On one hand I kinda want to see Vick go into Madden mode and tear shit up but on the other I'm glad the Vikes won 'cause it moves the Seahawks up the draft, assuming the 'Hawks lose this coming weekend.

Now I need Detroit, Cleveland, Houston, San Fran, and Dallas to win.  I want that 6 slot.
