Is some F2P MMO that's starting beta tomorrow.  The gameplay looks kinda like Monster Hunter.  I got 2 keys if anyone is interested.

I've played for about an hour and here are some quick impressions:

I would describe the game as a bastard hybrid of Guild Wars, Devil May Cry and Demon Souls (without any gameplay depth that you'd see in their respective individual title).  You go to instanced dungeons and hack and slash things.
It is really polished.  I had low expectations considering it is a F2P game, but the graphics are nice and the GUI is very professional.
The game focuses on grindan missions for new items and lewt, but there is a paper thin storyline.
As of right now, the game is braindead easy.  I've only done two missions, but they were on the hardest difficulty (heroic) and I was at no point in any danger of dying.  The game might get more difficult if you have a party of people, though.

My name is NeonKnight (Dio :'() and I'm on the USEast server if anyone wants to play.

Honestly I haven't played Monster Hunter enough to make a valid comparison, but you could make a faint relationship to it.  You crawl dungeons and fight bosses at the end and collect lewt to craft weapons, but the gameplay doesn't seem to be similar to MH.

What's this? An MMO that doesn't shamelessly copy WoW combat? Shock! It's...actually pretty good! The combat is fast-paced and completely manual, no auto-combat and maybe pressing "1" and "2" from time to time as you watch your avatar carve through hordes of enemies. No, it's much more action-based and it's got little things like dodging, picking up nearby items and using them as weapons, grabbing and enemy and slapping them around, throwing a spear that you actually have to manually aim, and so on. Overall, from what I've seen of the combat, it's really refreshing and a nice change from what every other MMORPG seems to have.

The graphics are nice, with detailed character models, but it's not GREAT. It does, however, have a sense of scale and, at least early on, has some well done cutscenes that wouldn't look out of place in Dragon Age.

Well, that's my impression from 20 or so minutes. We'll see how well it holds up after a few hours.

This probably wouldn't run very well with an ATOM CPU, would it?

I don't know anything about an ATOM CPU, but it is Source engine so the system requirements are pretty low. I've got just about everything maxed out on my Core 2 Duo and it runs smooth, aside from the occasional hiccup. It should scale down really well.

Anyway, back to the game, I gotta say...the combat in this is REALLY satisfying. I mean, yeah, it's basically just hack-and-slash through one group of enemies after another, but so is every other MMO out there, but this time they've actually figured out how to make the combat more engaging and fun. For instance: I was fighting the second boss in the story and I'm in this crumbling ruin. I pick up this huge chunk of broken concrete and smash it into his head. A column also got blasted in the process. It's hard to explain, but that moment was just insanely awesome.

Also, it's fun to run around kicking guys, especially those that you've already knocked down.

Or picking up the broken corpse of some dead monster and then throwing it at the others.  :lol

It should run at least on low settings, lyte edge.  Nexon had an article on their website about how scalable the game is.

Server stability is really wonky right now.  I'm going to attribute it to the fact it is still in beta and they probably have alot of people who want to play the game.

The ATOM CPU I have is like 1.67Ghz, single core.

Hmm...you might just barely meet the absolutely minimum, sorry.  :-\

You know what I really like about this game? Rolling out with two or three other people and going head-on against a horde of guys [in the "Friends" battle] or taking on one of the game's bosses. It's just FUN.

Anybody else on the West server?
