I went 15 months without TV.  Everything worth paying attention to could be accessed on the internet or on disc form (even if I may have to wait a little while for the disc form)

Pretty much everyone at my high school, I think. I'm always finding out who got drunk/pregnant/arrested/kicked out of their parents house over the weekend from one teacher who is apparently facebook friends with most of the student body.
