I just finally beat every stage in chapter 5. I just have to do the warps now and get the last 6 bandages in them.

I got 3 more glitch stages to do, 3 dark stages in chapter 6, and all of the dark world in chapter 7.

I did absolutely everything in this game and it's still fucking me over. I should be between 70-80 on the overall leaderboards now and #1 on my friends leaderboards. Yet I'm still behind iconoclast who didn't even beat every level. I am not happy.

oh gawd this game is soooo good. just come off of VVVVVV and into this, the gaming gods are smiling upon me.

I think it says something when some of the most enjoyable games I played this gen are low-budget indie titles.  

Global leaderboards are already broken, you got peeps with 0.00 sec level completions. F-that, it's all about friends' leaderboards anyway - I think I beat some of bebpo's and Joe's times. Adding more of you peeps to my f/list to compare times'.

I went back to it last night - didn't have much trouble at all with the rest of world 2, but for some reason, I just can't beat 2-2

Someone tell me the glitch levels are the hardest levels in the game.

Some of them are tough, but there are warp zones and dark world stages that are way harder imo. And also The Kid's first stage is pretty hard.

The Kid stages are easily the hardest in the game. Took me like 2-3 hours to do, my vision blurred, I questioned if I was actually capable of completing it, etc.

I think I hated the 2nd stage more than the 1st. 3rd stage is a cakewalk compared to those two.

this game is a son of a bitch.  First world and the dark work of it are pretty tame, but the bandages can be brutal already.  The warp zones and that weird glitch out level FUUUUCK YOU.  shit is going to get harder I guess.

SMB is pretty awesome. It's great when you have that "A-ha!" moment and you realize how to fly through a level that killed you dozens of times.

Ive probably tried 1-20 100 times already. I just can't figure it out and everytime I get close to that last platform I fuck it all up.

1-20 is pie, man. The real challenge is Dark World 1-20.

Super Meat Boy fans are in for a meaty treat. Starting sometime in mid-January, a free content update for the PC version of the game will become available. The update adds, among other things, a level editor, an online level portal, and a new chapter called "Super Meat World."

Below is the full detailed list provided by Team Meat:

A fully supported Super Meat Boy level editor.
- Players will be able to create anything they have seen level wise ingame (minus bosses)

- Players will be able to lock levels so they are only playable with specific characters.

- When a player completes his level (validating its possible to beat) he will gain the option to upload it to the level portal.
An online level Portal.
- Players will have the ability to sort and play user made levels by date, difficulty and over all fun.

- Difficulty is internally calculated by the number of times users die before completing the level.

- Over all fun is calculated by users voting 1-5 stars on level completion.

This update will also include the addition of "Super Meat World" a chapter that will unlock with 30 bandages and appear on the over world map before the 1st chapter of the main game.
- Super Meat World will act as a Hub for full chapters hand picked by Team Meat.

- All chapters uploaded to Xbla after this update will be featured here.

- Select chapters will also be uploaded to Xblas "internets" chapter as well.

- Many selected chapters will be character specific and created by designers like Matt Thorson (jumper / give up robot), Gaijin Games (bit.trip series), Michael "Kayin" O'Reilly (I wanna be the guy) and many more.

But! by far the coolest aspect of Super Meat World is your ability to "Enter the Unknown".

Enter the unknown is a PC specific feature that grabs random user made levels from the level portal and arranges them in order of difficulty.
- When Players enter the unknown they will choose what difficulty they want to play.

- The unknown will only feature levels ranked 3+ on over all fun factor.

- Every time you play will be a totally new set of levels, endless content.

This game is way way way better than N+. That game's too floaty and momentum-based for me, plus I hate collecting yellow squares to extend the time limit. SMB has better controls, characters, level design, graphics, music, and way more variety.

N+ has good multiplayer options though. Too bad all of my friends suck at it too much so I could never complete the last co-op episodes.

Started playing this yesterday, and it is awesome-wowsome. I've finished the first chapter so far, although I'm unsure if I've properly cleared the warp zones... The only time I got a reward was for the Commander Video one, for all the other three in the first chapter I just got a sad chime and got thrown back to the map. Supposed to be like this? Hehe. Same for the minuslevel as well.
