No one cares that you think one of the most influential 3d games ever is overrated.

In any case, I am crushing on this Japanese dude.

I played RE5 with left stick strafing, right stick turning, then aiming and shooting with the left stick.

and RE:R has a circle on the touch screen that does something.  no one has translated the text on the instructions yet, but it may do something.

It's really weird that Nintendo hasn't leveraged Super Smash Brothers on their portables.

burnout 3d would be pretty cool, pieces flying everywhere when you wreck

although 3d on such a small screen is kind of weird, like you're looking into a windowbox

mmm i'm not sure about that, the game has averagish good reviews and people certainly don't go around saying stuff "the most influential fighting game EVER made!"

Has there been any bulletpoint list of what they're actually doing with OoT? Not in the sense of what minigames are going to be added but iiirc big chunks of the town areas were prerendered, which I assume is not going to happen. The Link model looks a bit different from what I've seen. I'm just wondering if anything official or semi-official through interviews has been released

(like doing something about those ground textures :yuck)

Yup, legendary for its awful midi music, single-digit framerate, ugly blurry N64 graphics, and confusing and repetitive level designs. The FPS games on PC at that time were soooo much better.

OoT looks positively vociferously laudacious.  :o :drool

With it's only flaw (the graphics) finally addressed, all the (most likely female) haters don't have a leg to stand on anymore.

The best game ever just got bester! :bow :bow :bow

Perfect Dark was better. FACT. I usually agreed with people who found Ocarina of Time to be overrated, but after a replay recently, I found it deserving of its universal acclaim.

I hope OoT3D is the Master Quest version. :bow OoT :bow2

The graphics, detail, textures, character models are all infinitely better.

It's obviously overlayed over the original game itself, though, so the animations are the same. For instance, in the video, when Link gets hit by the boulder it does that HEAD EXPLODED thing over his head and then he walks through it just like in OoT.

That's not a problem because the animations were pretty solid in OoT. Not the best, but when you think of OoT it's certainly not the animations.

OoT 3DS is definitely noticeably better looking, but it really doesn't help that Nintendo sux at taking screenshots.

Has there been any bulletpoint list of what they're actually doing with OoT? iirc, Aonuma said:

-No more prerendered areas
-Certain dungeon puzzles modified to accomodate 3D.
-Easier item access for the water temple.

It would be awesome if Nintendo added a new dungeon or two, but I somehow doubt that'll happen.
