The Koreans here claimed that the heater 'broke' last January. It took them two months to fix it. It was FUCKING FREEZING in the office during that time, especially since we wear slippers inside here just as in all other schools. I was so cold--even bundled up like the Michelin Man--that my body would expend a huge amount of energy just to keep itself warm, so I was always ravenously hungry and lethargic as well.
In the US we'd have reasonable grounds for a lawsuit, but in Korea it is (as I said) business as usual.
