At our Saturday farmers market is a Japanese family who has tons of awsome produce you can't get anywhere else. We're making a stew tomorrow with one of their hokkori hime kabochas, dinosaur kale, fingerling potatoes and chick peas.

Made some bbq country ribs(no bone)on the grill. Slow cooked and marinated in honey bbq sauce.

Chopped up some potatoes into a foil bag with a bunch of butter, garlic salt, pepper, and placed on the back of the grill for 20 minutes before the ribs were placed in front of it.

So good.

Turkish friends had us over for dinner; we ate a bunch of stuff I've never had before. Highlight was the humus/hummous, which I almost never get to eat in Japan. Wow. I was so full. Turkish coffee at the end, and three cups of Turkish tea made it a little hard to sleep.
