The Shenmue City official site saw a tiny update today, providing us with specifics on some of the things you can do in the new social Shenmue game.All the content is on the What's Shenmue City page, shown here:(Image removed from quote.)The page says you can do the following in Shenmue City:Search Help Shenmue main character Ryo by searching Yokosuka. As you clear events, you'll work through a story featuring over 200 characters.Collection The "Gachacon" prize machines from Shenmue are in here. You'll find over 100 items.Game Support Ryo by strengthening your dojo. You can have your dojo challenge dojos from other players.It's still not clear what exactly you'll be dong in Shenmue City in terms of exploration and the "dojo" area. Most Shenmue fans I see haven't even played Shenmue II.I, however, imported it from Europe for dreamcast.
I fucking translated large chunks of Shenmue II. The outsource company screwed me and I never got paid for it. But do you know what? SHEN MUE II IS SO GOOD I DON'T CARE

Oh, big surprise. It's a run-of-the-mill Japanese social mobile game. With Shenmue 1 assets.Shenmue fans, doing it to themselves again. And again. Give up before you guys end up looking as pathetic as the Sonic fans.
Basically, Himu, it doesn't continue the story. It rewinds back to Yokosuka, and now the player's character is training in the Hazuki dojo with Ryo, and is "helping" him in his quest. No exploration, all menu driven, no story progression, just a ho-hum shallow little social game with a long-forgotten license stapled on its face.
A Shenmue 1+2 wii release is possible.

[Shenmue] is one of the worst games I've ever fucking played.
