Did the movies ever get decent? I read the first book, liked it. Then saw the first movie; it was like everything from the book had been included, except the emotions. It was very dry.

It may have spoiled me on the series, as I've never been able to get more than 50 pp. into the 2nd book.

I also watched over 8 hours of Harry Potter last night. 3 - 6 Jesus, kill me. It was good though and we're going to see it tonight.

saw this, it was slow and boring, they shoulda just made one movie

PROS
- There's a really cool cartoon in the middle of it for no reason
- One of the female characters gets naked!
- Everyone at the Ministry of Magic dresses like a pimp
- A lot of annoying characters die

CONS
- There's no plot and nothing happens
- David Radcliffe takes off his shirt like he's in a Twilight movie
- It's 2.5 hours long but it feels much longer
- Some good characters die, too

It was good. The Yates films have all been good. I won't say it was the best (I'm partial to Half-Blood Prince) but it was a strong first part to the end of the story.
