Anyway, I heard a dude sing Santa Baby. I thought that was pretty entertaining for a few seconds. All of the above is the correct answer.

I don't get why people get so annoyed over Christmas songs. Lyrically, they are leagues better and beyond than vile shit like Black Eyed Peas or Ke$ha. That and they are played less frequently.

The first reason being that nobody makes anything new/good for Christmas.
The second being that you get people that sing booty-shaking swear-filled songs year round then put out an album with "O Holy Night" on it, and hypocrisy is a bitch.
The third being that any song that is released, regardless of the artist, has to be 3 minutes of them having a reality check (along with some really dumb fans) that "oh shit, I can't sing" and that all people are not meant to get Mariah Carey lyrical with their shit.
The fourth being that it's all over the fucking radios and tv's and it's impossible to get away from. And sometimes you just get tired of the CD in your car.

Their are only two exceptions that I make for Christmas songs. The first being an artist who makes something new and good, don't act like absolute fucktards year-round and then put out their album/single, sings well, and isn't overplayed. The second being live performances like carolers and church groups regardless of how well they sing because they're probably going out of their comfort zone and that should never be under-appreciated.
