so...... back when i was still posting on gaf i was basicaly the only guy who ever had even a small interess in this game, even tough ultimately the game wasn't that good,i can't help but think it still deserves a mention for it's somewhat unique premise, instead of featuring yet another generic fantasy plot with a run-off the mill sword wielding kid, opoona features an alien with a pom-pon on his head who ends up emergencing landing on earth, since he's a jobless bum who needs money to repair his ship, the government sets him up with a job as a guardian (which basicaly just involves beating the shit out of monster, giving the game an excuse for having battles and stuff to begin with) but you can also take other side-job,for example you can work as a waiter which involve taking order from NPC (you start working at a MC Donald like fast food and end up working in a hotel) or you can work as a fortune teller which involve trying to guess from vague hints if your client wants yo hear a positive reply or a negative reply, tough there aren't many of these, they provide an amusing variant...
but what i tought was really impressive was the world,at a certain point you see a painting of a desert and there is really nothing particular about it... then you do visit that desert and you can enter the cabin where the artist painted the picture and you can see the same view from the painting, that's a really cool touch,at another point you can enter a museum where you can see various sculpture and painting and each sculpture and painting follows a fictional art movement for example there is revolvism which is about sculpture that rotate, then on each part of the planet you can watch tv and you can see different program, one of them has a man talking about his life, another is a story done in a "book for kid" style about a cat trying to find his life purpouse, considering all this stuff is optional and it's there just for kicks it's really well done.....
so anyway... TL;DR i'm the only guy who has ever played this game?
