The first girl I started banging after I got a divorce in 2005, I asked her to join OA.  I don't think I'll ever live that down.  My divorce/desperation goggles were completely fogged and she was... regrettable to say the least.

Or maybe it was in middle school when I met my first "hot chick" on the internet.  It's not that I really did anything stupid.  But we talked a lot on the phone and I thought I had feelings at the time.  Fast forward 10 years and I'm talking to a friend that used to chat with her too and he found out she was a huge fatty IRL because he found her on facebook.

Yea, I don't really regret any of my previous antics per se. Michelle, Shat Pack, etc were all dumb, but looking back it's not like I lost money or something  - I lost respect on the internets, which I've apparently gotten back. Not that I care.

I'm more regretful of the amount of time I've wasted on forums over the years. I went a full year or two of highschool before setting foot into the computer lab, but after that point it was a wrap. Randy Rhodes forum, GAF, etc. I missed classes just to keep track of the Aries hoax. Then in college there was Evilbore, Mupepe.com, etc.

Glad I never really got into OA. I've lurked there for years, and made a few posts, but nothing  big

One time when I was like 11 (in the days of dial up) I downloaded a porn soaker and ran up this huge international phone bill. My parents got out of paying, but it was pretty damn stupid of me.

My first night with the internet I downloaded a porn dialer.  I only stayed on for about 3 or 4 minutes but I called Saudia Arabia or something and my mom got charged like 30 or 40 bucks. 


I've spent a lot of times on forums but I don't regret it.  I've discovered tons of new things and learned a lot.  I would have never heard of so many movies and games and books if it weren't for forums.  Sometimes they hamper me at work but I always buckle down and get my shit done.  It's never really fucked with my personal life.

Facebook is cool for a timewaster but if I have something to do it never even enters into my thoughts.  It's for when I'm really bored.  If I didn't have access to it from my phone, I'd probably never log on.

A while ago (maybe a year or two, I forget), I did a rough estimate of the total hours I spent on forums and I was shocked.  While I learned a few things from being on forums, at the same time, I felt that 90% of it was bullshitting around when I could have done something much more productive instead.  I feel even if I jacked off to porn instead, it would have been a better investment than going onto forums.

Also posting on forums.  For the first several years, I always lurked instead.  I feel that is a better option more and more, which is reflected in the frequency of my posts (I was around 7 posts a day here on average, now I'm down to 5.5 a day)

Fortunately I didn't have any regrets with women and the internet.  I treat everyone equally on the internet.  I also didn't care to be an e-pimp or try to get e-laid.
