So, way back in November I ordered a copy of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for 360. I have a Korean XBox, so I can play NSTC-J region games. In 99% of all cases, the game just swaps to English. I own 14 Korean XBox games, all of them do this. They just check the system language. WIth this in mind, I ordered a Japanese copy because it was cheaper than the US version by like 15 bucks.
Anyway, 32 days go by and my package never arrives. I start the refund process with Play-Asia. In the meantime, I go to the electronics district in Korea and buy a Korean copy of AC. Again, every game I've ever played has English menu, text etc. I get the game home- The speech is in English, the subtitles are in English, everything else is in Korean- Shop text, menus, tutorial stuff. It's literally one of like 3 games where this is the case. It's more or less unplayable, especially with all the new Brotherhood stuff and MUltiplayer text.
I figure I'll just have to take a bath on it- No one wants to buy it because of the text issue.
Then today, an envelope arrives. From Play Asia. The Japanese copy. Same thing. Japanese menus, Japanese text. English subtitles- I have no idea how Korean or Japanese people are supposed to understand what's going on.
So now I have 2 copies in 2 languages I don't really read/understand. I finally bought a US copy from Amazon and sent it to my parents.
teh end.
