this joins hand with super robot taisen 3 for the snes,super robot taisen alpha gaiden for psx and i'm pretty sure there was a menu patch for super robot taisen A which coupled with the translated script from gamefaqs made the game playable....

I would never ever want to translate a SRW game.  I don't even like reading them.  Too much freaking text.  The story parts are basically visual novels.

Yeah, translating a SRW game would be a pain in the ass. The storylines are pretty inconsequential, it's all about seeing mechs from one show pummel mechs from another.
