It sounds like you might be drinking too much water. Do you only drink when you're feeling thirsty or are you actively trying to drink at least a gallon a day? It's bad for your kidneys if you drink too much water.
His necessary water intake would depend a lot on his weight. For instance: a person weighing 130lbs may only need to drink 65oz (.5 gallons) of water on a regular day without exercise, while a man weighing 180lbs is suggested to drink 90oz (.7 gallons) on a regular day, and still yet a man weighing 250lbs is suggested to drink 125oz (nearly 1 gallon!) of water on a regular day without exercise.

I'm sure many of you are saying, "Show me your source, you fuckety fuck you!" I came across this info in a local health and wellness magazine a few years ago and always kept it in mind when drinking water. But just in case, I found the same info on the Mayo Clinic website and
here at About.com. Cormac, you can pimp slap me around later with your superior facts.
You know what would be REALLY worth going to talk to the doctor about?
If he drank a gallon of water a day and DIDN'T have to fucking pee all the time, jesus christ
Hey, he's obviously concerned enough about this to make a thread about it. It's no big deal to ask a doctor. Why are you so hung up on this?
I have to agree that it is a worthy question to ask the doctor about. Should he make an appointment just to talk about it, go to his local emergency room, urgent care center, or check on WebMD? No.
It's not an emergency or anything, WebMD is going to tell you what they tell everyone (you either have cancer or lupus), and this is one of those "oh, by the way..." questions for the doc. Granted, I do feel a little curious that it gets you up in the middle of the night (twice!), but then again, some people are just like that.
