The thing is if I was a father and something like that happened I may have been a bit embarrased and annoyed myself for a second but then in the time it took me to explain the context to the kid I would have never thought of it ever again. I mean we are all entitled to feel however we want to feel.
But that isn't "news" in any way shape or form. This has more to do with how shitty our news is that they consider this worthwhile to waste time on rather than the game or what any individual feels about any videogame.
I mean seriously you could do that same news story on pretty much any video game ever released with dialogue in it.
I do agree, and I'd rather die than have to appear on the 2nd half of some shitty local 5 o'clock news show whining about some perverse
videogame. Nor would I sue for $XXXXX in "emotional damage".
<and I really don't want to overthink this> but a guy getting an E for everyone game should be able to put his parenting on cruise control for a few moments. Nothing wrong with a good adoption joke but does it belong there?
Again, this is a bit of a BS controversy as orginal local news content is like a direct stovepipe from random internet comments to MSM material.
Mostly I just kinda emphathized with the dad playing the game with his daughter and getting a little slap from the joke that didn't make their situation any nicer - not the end of the world but if it'd be rated a bit higher it'd be much easier just to pass the responsibility onto the dad and call it a day.
