I dunno. It depends on the area, Sammy Sosa for instance bleached his skin. Skin bleaching is also for very popular in Africa and other parts of the world. While bleaching is frowned upon in America, the women still tend to straighten their hair. Nothing wrong with straight hair, I love straight hair, but it's the fact that just about EVERY black woman in America does it that gets me. It's like denying who you are, and the fact it's still widely popular after the black power movement is even more puzzling.
Sometimes I think it's a black american thang, sometimes I don't. I don't fucking know. I just wish people would chill and appreciate what their own beauty and the fact that what makes humanity so fucking awesome in the first place is our diversity.
