The point is, there are difficult games just like back when we were kids. Not to mention, making games more easy has been going on for 20 years. Go back and play snes and genesis games and they're easy as fuck for the most part. The same goes for most nes games. People who complain about modern games being too easy really need to get better taste.

Haven't played it. But Demon's Souls wasn't too bad, though it got boring after a while, so I haven't completed it. But there are definitely far more difficult games in recent years. The dissonance is that gamers complain about modern games being too easy, but when they get something like Demon's Souls which really isn't that difficult, but requires at least a little trial and error, they lose their shit.
