Joy of Cooking calls for 1 cup / 8oz of mayo to 1/2 lb of macoroni noodles, double that = one fucking jar of mayo,

i saw the video when it made the rounds a couple years ago, and the real joke is that she's fat.

but she made a legit and traditional version of macoroni salad. a version which many people have probably eaten many times, and not known.

the only thing i would do different is add the noodles when they've cooled completely. that's what gave the mix an unappealing soupy quality, but i'm sure once she lets it cool and puts it in the fridge overnight, shit is

the implication she somehow quadrupled the mayo is incorrect, even though more modern versions call for less, but it shouldn't surprise anyone to know that we eat with less butter, oil and fat than in the past.
