Kamen Rider Decade is a problematic series for me. It came on just as my son was losing interest in the series, but we still ended up seeing most of it. It uses all the old Kamen Rider characters to fight alongside Decade, but treats many of them disrespectfully. It was also a 6 month series, primarily used to introduce an offset to the seasonal launches of sentai hero series, so the toys for each launch would no longer compete for attention simultaneously, so that's hideously effective marketing to children.

Hibiki is another matter; it's pretty neat, and is pretty much what you see in that video.

Remember checks?

I have to write checks to pay property taxes. Last year the great city of Oakland sent me my bill two days after it was dues, so I sent in my check, and they sent it back to me because it was late with a giant explanation for why they were sending it back, which was I owed a nominal fine and now needed to send a new check with the fine included. They sent the whole thing certified mail which cost about the same as the fine and I thought "this is why you're fucking broke Oakland".
