The vegans are against clean energy?
The European left and especially the greens are against Nuclear energy in general.
Because it would instantly solve the clean energy problem and make all the reforms they want unnecessary.
People are now starting to realize how dumb it was to close down the nuclear power plants because of a Tsunami in Japan.
Although the European Commision is now desperately trying to push that idea:

And the recent floods in Germany were caused by poor water management following heavy rainfall.
The only way we could see a Tsunami is if England accidentally nukes itself and that causes a big enough earthquake.
Which I admit, has a bigger than 0% chance of happening.
The North Sea is about 600 meters away from where I'm sitting right now.
And I can tell you, the water has never gotten high enough to even touch our coastal defense or beach clubs.
