when I worked at a truss plant in idaho there was a guy who got his fingers cut off by one of those saws. he was lucky to have them all re-attached, guy was a walking accident waiting to happen. he was messing around trying to saw in half the thin strips of wood separating large stacks of lumber.
guy also got yelled at for smoking while chainsawing some stuff in the lumber yard with sawdust all around him. no safety glasses or shirt on when one of the higher ups was walking around the yard
eventually got fired after getting pancaked by this big heavy duty shelf thing we made. a forklift was pushing it and we were supposed to help guide the thing, but stay out of the way and be smart about it. goofball wasn't paying attention at all and walked along side the shelf while it was moving. he looked like a looney toons character getting smashed to the ground when it tipped over. I think he ended up alright, but tested dirty for thc at the hospital and got fired
