This video reminds me of GAF's take on issues: half aggressive, half scared, but totally clueless.

I don't really think any company can be considered game fans. Companies who are game fans have probably long since slid into insolvency and purchased by a larger producer. You really can't be a game fan and run a successful business. These are all businesses and it is insane and manchildish to assume that these people care more about what some asshurt nerd on the internet thinks about whether they keep it real or not than running a successful, profitable business.

That is why it is bad to a fanboy of any camp. Just be a fan of good games. I have no compunction about dropping consoles like a hot potato if they're not doing their job. Hearing that sad sack talk about how Nintendo is the only game fans out there is sad, considering how little they think of them, as evidenced by the Wii's software lineup since spring of 2008, the DS library since 2007, or the 3DS's launch.

They dont give a fuck about you. Both Sony and MS use gaming as a way to push a product line as a whole. That nintendo's only business or the fat majority of their business relies on gaming does make a difference, but it means they care about the survival of the industry rather than that they care about gamers.

What is amazing is that Sony should be showing that they've learned from losing two battles in a row with a high priced high tech strategy. Still, they're recycling trolls.
