That's a shame about Amazon Tony, though I haven't looked into any of that big thread about any of this to know why it was such a big issue (maybe I will on the toliet later), but the guy did put in some effort at getting deals posted, often ahead of time, and helping people out with issues. Plus he would give away keys just for GAF at times.
I guess I don't understand the whole "integrity of GAF" thing. Tony was clearly labeled as an employee of Amazon, as some others are for their employers, and I'm not sure what the issue is with someone shilling for their employer is. There are plenty of people on GAF who do it for free, they do the tags, just label the actual employees.
But then I've never got the whole OT thing either. I mean I've made the Hell's Kitchen OT's recently and that was just going to the site a week before the premiere and rehosting the images and copy-pasting info so people could "pick" a winner like we do before every season and sometimes I updated it with the changes to when the show as airing. And I mostly have done those so the other fans around GAF see the season is starting soon so they can lock in and get ready. Isn't that enough for games? Here's the release info, basic modes or whatever and some screens and vids, NOW TALK ABOUT IT. The actual info you need is pages later when people get the game and point out how it's 480p and runs at 11fps, also the multiplayer sets your console on fire. Plus you need to download this hexedit. Or whatever.
It's not like there aren't extensive wikia's out there now for most of these games. A couple weeks ago I just wanted to look at something for the Resident Evil movie that was playing over and over on USA, and there's a huge ass wiki with all sorts of insane and detailed info about the series out there. Maybe link to that or whatever.
Apologies if nobody gives a shit about this anymore.
