New design looks a little nicer, no awful WEB TWO POINT OH blue gradients. Still looks a bit off to me.

Also andrex is straight up wrong. The bore as problems with games that do not fit the traditional definition of a game. Games like walking dead, the Sims, and animal crossing are lambasted and even mentioning their names results in people going batshit and trolling for pages rather than letting people discuss the games they enjoy. So on that front, in the "respect " arena, Charlie is 100% wrong.

I doubt it. First of all, he's a Nintendo fan. Secondly, Shenmue is an awful game that nobody should like.

Shenmue is a great game eclipsed by its more superior sequel Shenmue II. If you want to play a game where a Chinese trans woman is chasing you around a crumbling building full of gangsters in Kowloon with a chainsaw you play Shenmue II. When you play Shenmue II you are playing the greatest game of all time.

I have had shenmue withdrawal this year. My dream cast is imploding and freezes whenever I play shenmue or shenmue 2 (goat). So I had to resort to the xbox version of 2. Admittedly playing 2 on 360 BC owns on my HDTV is enough to make me fall on my knees like I would for Allah since it "fixes" (accidentally due to bc glitches) everything wrong with the xbuck version.

It makes me sad. I'm not sure if it is the discs or the system but Sega needs to do an HD port this year or I may lose it. I want to slap the taste out of Japanese school girls in HD. Right now.

Shenmue and Shenmue II (PAL) prices have skyrocketed in years. Shit used to be dirt cheap. Now it's the price of a full price game. Shenmue II PAL however has always been rare. Estarland had dreamcasts for like 100 dollars and shit. Supplies seem limited in 2012.

An NTSC Dreamcast sold for $10.50 just yesterday on ebay. Look for an auction that doesn't have a lot of bidders. If you're willing to wait a week or two and check the site a few times, there's no reason you couldn't get one for under $20 if all you want is the system and not a bundle.

My old Dreamcast also stopped working, but I don't care enough to replace it.

I mostly want a new system. Due to DC breakage I doubt used systems.

I haven't researched the ups and downs very much, what makes it a bad thing? I've read a number of stories about people raising kids unknowing that they were cuckolded and it seems like a terrible situation for those people to be in. If that can be prevented with a cheap and easy fix, why not?
