I don't know, there's a lot of kickback in that thread.  Having been on GAF on various forms since before the Gamecube launch, the Wii U has elicited probably the most tepid reaction to a Nintendo device (handheld or console) I've seen on GAF.  Nintards are spinning hard as per the usual but it isn't having the same impact as it once did.

The Wii U launch lineup isn't that bad. Not impressive surely. But compared to most launches it sits right at the average. I can see Shane naively assuming there would be more titles shown for the post launch period and that all those "launch games" were actually coming out at launch (rather than all the way to March like Nintendo thinks "launch window" means).

The Wii-U has no killer app that I can think of. Yeah, sure I said back at E3 that NSMB-U was tits, but it doesn't have the pull of AAA Nintendo game (I know that sounds some what weird). At least the Wii had Zelda: TP, which was hyped to the stratosphere at the time.

I asked what was worse, a member who posted 1 referral link (and got banned) but otherwise contributed his opinions, or the dude who's just a shill. I knew that was going to get me banned because GAF won't allow someone to talk bad about a hand that feeds, but what ever it was kind of mean. My last ban kind of made me stop caring about this stuff.
