kuwabara and takamura are both the same character except kuwabara is unintentionally way more funny. I can't take Hajime seriously anyways cause the weights on the fighters are so far off unless everyone is like shorter than 5 feet tall. Fuck those weights. Fuck Ippo.

Why does everyone hate Other M? Is it simply the storyline? Is that all? Who gives a shit about storyline unless you have Aspergers and can only feel emotions through video games. Ninja Gaiden's storyline is useless.

I don't much care for the storyline, characters, and cutscenes, but I don't like Other M because the gameplay is babby simple, there's hardly any real exploration, and location variety is pretty limited.

Also, the first-person stuff has a horrible tacked-on feeling.

The story is offensively bad and unskippable. The game has a lot of other problems too.

It just irks me every time he takes his shirt off and i see those pectorals. I haven't read the manga but the show is good except the fight portions are so predictable. I think the non-fight portions are much better than the actual fights once you've already sat through like 5 fights.

There is a manga for about any subject. A lot of anime are adapted from manga, but manga is really its own thing. For an American comparison, it's like comparing film to comics. Film as a medium covers a wide range of topics, people, settings, and things to explore. Comics, for the most part, are limited (mostly) to men and women in tights. Manga tends to be better written, because a lot of Japanese writers just write manga, and the topics covered are more diverse as well, compared to anime which is a limited niche thing.

So, for example, instead of making an anime out of it. They'll do something like this

as a screaming J-ulon, i've failed miserably to get into either Anime or Manga - even though the wife has a huge collection of it upstairs. IF i had to read something (PERISH THAT THOUGHT!) i suspect it'd be Slamdunk as the wife is constantly tut tut'ing me that i've not read it. She'd probably throw Pluto at me after that i guess but, as she points out, without knowing the original it's somewhat lost.

She also has some thing for some manga about some n00b fireman that she loves, oh and one about a vet. Or something. Probably just porn.

Man, with her out of the house, i should totally go on an adventure into her side of our games floor... i wonder what treasures i could find?

edit : opened up her first gaming cupboard - Metal slug, metal slug 2nd, Tactics Ogre (all NGPC) , x2 Wonderswan colours, a sealed copy of Gradius V, A bag full of Gameboy games with an original gameboy, a custom Xbox with her name etched into it, and a load of other games (Borderlands, left for dead 2, etc etc)

Cran-Grape is one of the few crap semi-juice blends that doesn't get apple all up in my face. If I wanted apple, I'd get cider.

Speaking of cider, I found once that if you add the right amount of gin, it tastes like granny smiths. Only have 50/50 agreement on this with friends though.

Nothing wrong with taking some time off and staying home, I find it relaxing and have more time to get stuff done that I've been wanting to do for ages. But taking it off just to play a video game seems wasteful, don't people in the US get a low amount of holidays as it is?
