I've emailed them twice, quite civil in tone, and have gotten buttfuck all of a response. Nothing. I logged out of my account during my ban, and I forgot my password, and my GAF account is tied to a dead e-mail address, so doing a password reset isn't possible either. I'm basically by default perma-banned unless someone responds to me and helps me, haha.

This is something about GAF that I can't get over: There's a large segment of users that I swear must have had the most coddling, fearful, over protective parents in the world.  It's like they're terrified of EVERYTHING.  There was a thread about driving and I was shocked by how many people were afraid of operating cars, let alone driving on busy roads and interstates.   People scared over trying on clothes because of 'bacne' or 'boob sweat'?

Sometimes I worry about some of their abilities to use reason. Pretty much anything you touch out in public has been touched by someone else. Or to think that some clothing at the store hasn't been previously tried on is quite naive. Then there was the whole "but these clothes are tried on by a multitude of people" angle which was like "hey dipshit the fucking door handle to the god damn fitting room is a bigger germ cesspool than any one piece of clothing." Then Zoe with her "well where I buy bras they are rarely touched." Unless she buys every fucking bra she puts on someone else has to deal with her "boob sweat", which might I add probably isn't much considering you put the things on for like 10 seconds and figure out if they're decent then throw another one on. Big fucking deal.

I buy second hand and at goodwill bins, they'd probably have a emotional breakdown there. The whole conversation made me feel like I was talking to the most socially inept people in existence.

The stuff some women do with tampons/pads long convinced me that the idea of the "fairer" sex being "more clean" is some bullshit. Also germaphobes should be more concerned about how their food is handled not whether someone tried on some clothes before them.

i've never gotten a used controller from gamestop without caked chocolate and hand sweat shit in all the seams.  When you run a paperclip through, it pulls out BARS of the shit. 

so i stopped buying them used.  I think it's really gross that they don't have some kind of clean-up/sanitizing process for controllers.  That's about my only germaphobe hang-up, but i think it's pretty reasonable.
