I doubt it. He hasn't been around that long and doesn't have much of a following unlike some posters with similar reputations. A few people here and there like him but I doubt any of the mod staff gives a shit. I'm not the least bit surprised to see him get permed but it is kinda lame that they axed over that post. I looked at that creepy facebook page and I guess a long time poster was also permabanned for a crude but inoffensive sexual comment. I'm honestly still trying to figure out what has happened in the past two days since I've been at work and mostly unplugged from the internet, but from what I can gather in the past few hours of trudging through some of the most inane, immature, pathetic whining I've seen on the web for the past few years is that apparently the new Devil May Cry game came out. Apparently it's a well developed product and apparently there is a large (or maybe not-so-large-but-loud) group of idiots and morons tripping across the internet who either refuse to believe that this is true, or some other bullshit about it not being a real DMC game, I'm not too sure on that last point. I think I read something about it a year ago.

Now, I would like to say that that would be totally cool if these people were arguing with just a touch of dignity, or at the very least holding themselves up online in a coherent and decipherable way, but after forcing my poor eyes to absorb some of most abhorrent comments about a fucking video game on a number of different platforms, GAF included, I've come to one conclusion: This article is 100% correct. The content is insulting and rude and in your face because in the face of all this bloody stupidity right now it has to be. To all of you idiots acting like you're on some higher plane of morality and that this article is "insulting to you as a gamer", bend over and pull the fucking stick out of your god damn ass and look at what she is actually saying. I'm still waiting for DmC's month sales before I declare myself pleasantly surprised. While I'm on the "hater" side I'm glad Ninja Theory at least delivered a competent action game (more so Capcom's help, I guess?) compared to Enslaved/H. Sword/previous outings. I had no hope they'd actually do that, and the demo didn't really wow but but it seems they've hit a spot with some of the casual action game players so good for them.

I don't even think they seriously intended on producing that statue thing.  I think it was meant to provoke an outcry and get people talking about the game.  I guess it worked in the same way that Gawker acting stupid keeps people talking about them.  I had a few hours of fun with Dead Island but unless Riptide is a big upgrade I'll wait until it's in the bargain bin or skip it entirely.

I rolled my eyes at the Cyberpunk 2077 CG trailer, too.  Starting off with a crotch shot of a robo babe isn't putting their best foot forward.  Then again, The Witcher 2 opened up with gratuitously nude Triss.
