1.5 PSP...SO. FUCKING. FULL. OF. WIN. (CAPCOM AND SNK!!!)

I was already missing my old PSP (it got screwed when I attempted to install the TV Mod) after reading about flawless Neo-Geo and CPS1/2 support, but then the recent Playstation emulation stuff sent me over the edge.  Managed to find a used system in great shape today at the first store I went to, and it only cost me 14,800 yen.

I haven't even gotten around to the PSX stuff yet, but just being able to play Capcom and SNK games so perfectly on a handheld...well...I'm crying tears of joy here. 

EDIT: Garou MOTW, SSV Special, Sengoku 3, Marvel Vs. Capcom, Puzzle Fighter, D&D all on the go...*FAINTS*

You're quite out of the loop!  You take that 1.0 or 1.5 PSP and upgrade it to a special hacked 3.02 firmware, allowing you to run EVERYTHING.  Homebrew from 1.5 plus newer stuff and PSX games, many of which work FLAWLESSLY.  It's incredible.

Right now you're screwed unless you can save the game right before switching.  You can bet this will be addressed though.
