Is $15,000 USD realistic for a three month trip through Europe for two?  If you've ever been on an extended trip like this, how did you budget it?  Any stories or advice appreciated.

probably. depends on where and what you want to do though.

also depends if it's just you and a friend versus you and a friend...if it's the latter you will probably end up paying more for privacy.

Yeah, it's totally doable. I can't imagine staying in a hostel, though.
