So I've finnisned the campaign and what can I say other then I liked the game.
It's a pretty simple beat-em up and for a novice thats fine with me. The game feels very inviting in how it basically seems to give you time and que you to do stuff like jungles and stuff. I can't so it's complicated, but it makes getting into the game pretty simple as it's simple to figure out how to do combos. But other then that, everything else just feels smooth and fine. Never had any trouble with movement or camera placement. It's just an easy going and fun beat-em up.
And I liked the single player campaign. One things for sure is that the game never bored me as I believed was possible from the demo. You don't need to grind to get to the next mission as getting points is pretty fast, you can get them all from doing the missions themselves. Plus since points don't carry over from stage to stage, it really makes you not want grind on what you would think is an easy points mission. And a lot of the missions are kind of varied. I mean they are all just kill stuff missions, but some have you do it in very dumb and stupid ways. These variations may not play that well, but they are pretty stupidly entertaining and not really annoying. They help keep the game fresh. Plus the actual boss battles are really fun.
As for the presentation. Hey it looks pretty good to me. I mean it's obviously running on that Platnium Engine and it's not the best looking game ever, but I don't know it just looks solid. The Hong Kong level to me looked pretty damn good. All the characters look good and well look cool. They all have personality and I like how shapely some of the women are, obviously Platinum like's butts.
I won't really be playing a lot of the multi. I tried, but it's just really chaotic and I'm not really good.
Anyway, it's just a fun simple action game from Japan. It won't rock the world, but it was very solid.
