Some African food can burn a hole right through you. It's awesome. If you ask the cook to make it authentic standard Europeans and Americans will cry like a baby after the first nibble.
Remember that one Simpsons episode where Homer had his guts coated with wax? Just like that, only maybe a bit worse. Still, if your tastebuds can withstand it, it's delicious.

Back to the topic at hand: Beautiful me. And my lunch. But mainly me.
Today I had "Fried duck breast (Thai Curry)" from a local asia-themed kind-of-fastfood-chain. Pretty yummy, they fried the veggies for a few seconds in the same oil they fried the duck breasts in, making for a very tasty veggie sidedish. Dirty shortcut, but it works. I do wonder about my calorie intake today, though. The sauce was standard fare, cocos+curry+lemongrass is always a nice combo. The duck breasts were crispy and yummy.
Also, thank God for the likes of Sambal Oelek. It's only fun if it burns twice.
