Keep in mind this is an advertised position (and multiple different positions were in the ad) so they'll probably get dozens if not more resumes

:derp Sending off an application and in the subject line somehow accidentally spelling Engineer "Enginer" and hoping it's ignored with them only noticing the ref # in the subject and my cover letter and resume is just forwarded on through the proper channels.

:derp A couple weeks later, resending the same application but spelling it right this time, changing the wording of the subject line a bit so it just looks like I applied twice without realizing it, but they may not even notice due to the volume of applicants?

The 2nd one seems less distinguished mentally-challenged.  At least you fixed your mistake from the first.  Bad boy.

You could have claimed you let Billy write the job application this week.

Resend the application, but spell it 'Enginer' throughout for consistency.

ya and then send one where it is spelt correctly all the way though so that when they read the good version they will go "well at least this guy knows how to spell!".

Went for :derp #2 but /w rewording the subject line so maybe if they toss the first at a glance, they might not even notice the second came from the same person.

I fucking hate this shit.
