Capsized demo was, uh, it has nice ideas but the feel of the game is so loose.  Nothing has impact.  It is sad because it looks like Metroid, and you have a grapple and a jetpack, which is enough for make a game seem interesting.

I'm at level 7 or 8 in Capsized. All the problems you may find in the demo never seem to go away. I actually got my character stuck in a spot while trying to move around objects. I was trying to open a passage, but theres so many physics based objects floating about that they trapped me in between two slabs and an elevator with no way to get out.

The game's problem is its excess of stuff on screen, be it too many physics based objects or too many environmental bits and plants that make it hard to tell friend from foe.

I think the PC version contains a bunch of fixes they made to the console versions because they realised it sucked

edit: here we go

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-04-26-steam-ps3-hydrophobia-prophecy-revealed

Quote
Downloadable action game Hydrophobia is coming to Steam and the PlayStation 3, Eurogamer can exclusively reveal.

Hydrophobia Prophecy is described as version 1.5 of the game that began life on the Xbox 360 last year.

It also follows the December 2010 release of Hydrophobia Pure on Xbox Live Arcade.

The game includes new levels – around 70 per cent of the game is new - and existing levels have been reworked.

The cover system has been improved, and combat is now possible from climbing points. The game is said to have a "proper, dramatic new ending", with an expanded storyline. There are new voice actors, too.

And the game has been augmented, developer Dark Energy Digital said, with feedback gathered from the Hydrophobia Listening Post.

"It's Hydrophobia 1.5, really," managing director Deborah Jones told Eurogamer.

"It's also not the original and it's also not Pure."

"The game is now hugely longer," DED boss Pete Jones added. "We've honed, refined and developed the stuff people liked, and we've added a bunch of new stuff that's gone down really well in usability tests."

The Steam version launches on 9th May, with a pre-order price of £7.64 / $10.19.

The PlayStation Network version, which launches shortly after the Steam version, supports the Move controller, and will be similarly priced.

Here, the navigation controller controls player movement, and the Move controller is used to control the camera and aiming.

Pete Jones said "the ultimate decision" on whether DED will bring Prophecy to the Xbox 360 is Microsoft's, but "it's our intention to do so".

The Steam version of Prophecy includes a developer feedback system, called Darknet, built in. It allows players to pause the game and send contextually augmented feedback to DED's servers in real-time.

Prophecy brings the Hydrophobia story arc to a close, but DED wants to expand on the concept with "other stories within the Hydrophobia universe".

"We want to be the first game and the first developer that truly has a one-to-one connection with the community," Jones said.

"We're a bit of a slow starter and we made mistakes in the beginning, but we've got there in the end. We've been committed heart and soul to this project. We believe in it completely. We've created something now we're all very proud of."

The expansion was unfinished when Radon Labs went bust. They got bought up by some browser game company and had to beg them to be allowed to get the expansion in working order, which was ALL they were allowed to do. In other words, don't even bother.

The Witcher is one of the least janky Euro RPGs ever! Probably only second to Drakensang.

And the only thing "bad" about the combat is that it takes time to get used to what it wants from you and what it requires to win battles. Different fighting styles, different weapons, support magic, and various potions. It's all about figuring out the right combination.

Man up, bebpo.

Also, TW2 is supposed to be hard as fuck, even on normal.

Quote
Combat is hard. Even on normal. One on one you're going to be fine, two on one is tricky, three on one is a fight for your life, 4 or more you have no chance. Aard and Yrden are a must, as is blocking. Rolling is not good enough to spam it, better to position yourself correctly. You can't insta switch between swinging your sword and, say blocking, Geralt has to regain some balance beforehand so no kamikaze strikes or you're dead.

I can't wait.  :rock

I can't speak for the punkbuster issue (not sure if MW2 or Black Ops use it on PC, but Bad Company 2 does and I didn't have a problem there).  But I had no issues with MW2 and Black Ops on PC.  Granted, most of my time playing both was around launch and cheaters could have formed since then.  many hours I played Black Ops, only ran into two people cheating.  As for which is better, um, black ops has dedicated servers but I never had a problem with MW2 peer to peer stuff.

Personally I enjoy Black Ops multiplayer more, but that's just a personal preference than saying one is a better online experience.
