I don't know if it's insomnia but I really hate the act of 'going to bed/sleep' because I can't fall asleep unless I'm dead tired.

I spent most of last night with my eyes closed, tossing in the bed, and hoping I would drift off to sleep.

I bought Tylenol PM today! Fuck you, non-sleepy Andy!

Too bad I don't get to take it until in the morning when I get off work...

That's a bit pushing it. Mine's around 20 hours. It's probably because we aren't that active during the day. I've had periods where I worked fulltime and went to the gym in the evenings. That made me a little more prone to go to bed. I just really don't like to go to bed, I rather stay up a few more hours to get my internet/entertainment fix, even if I'm really sleepy.

I know that feeling. When I'm home for a few days, I normally sleep less just because I'm more inactive.

i bust my ass bussing tables at a restaurant, which involves literally walking around in circles around the entire place on top of dress shoes for at least four hours a night, carrying heavy ass fucking trays with dishes from parties of 20+ people, and busting your ass in the back so the waitresses don't get mad at you. it usually doesn't hit me until i get out of the car after driving home - but when it does all i can do for the rest of the night is put on some slippers and watch tv

Hey man, I waited tables and bussed them for years when I was younger. My wife waits tables now while she's in her management training. It's hard work.

Usually everyone has worked a shit job at some point. It doesn't mean you're any harder of a worker if you're still doing it in your mid to late 20's though. It means you suck at advancing your skills.
