funnily enough, I almost picked Morehead in my bracket because I wanted it to be Richmond v. Morehead. What a hysterical third round that'd be.

I had ODU as well. Bummer. Those are my only two losses so far.

Damn I had MSU beating UCLA; that's what I get for being stubborn about the team. Buffalo Wilds Wings was going crazy during the last 5 minutes of the game. Great comeback attempt.

For those who didn't watch the ending, Butler hit a shot to go ahead 70-69 with 2.1 seconds left. Then someone from Butler foolishly fouled a Pitt guy with 1.4 seconds left. Dude for Pitt made the first, missed the second, Howard for Butler got the rebound and a Pitt dude fouled him with 0.8 seconds left! Game tied 70-70, Howard made the first. Game effectively over. Intentional miss on the second and that was it.

Just got home. Duke is getting DESTROYED

I had Texas taking them out, but of course they lost to Arizona. Seems like Duke typically gets embarrassed by a more athletic team that hits the board.

That Duke second half was kind of embarrassing. I about turned the TV off but decided I might as well enjoy the last few minutes of Smith, Singler, and Irving's collegiate careers. The first two had quite a run, and Irving was stellar in the few games he was able to play.

Why wouldn't he? He's #1 on some boards, no lower than 3, most likely. If I'm a 18, 19 year old kid being told I can be a millionaire tomorrow, I don't know that I stick around in school. And the good thing about him is he's actually good, he's not going to be some project. Unless something tragic happens to him off court a la Jay Williams and a motorcycle or on court a la Grant Hill's ankle, he could end up being the best Duke has ever put in the league.

That being said, I'd love to see him back at Duke next year. I'm just not going to kid myself.
