My mamecab

All modular, its running MALA with mame, on a rather shitty Small form factor Revo from ACER. It blows for 3d games or mk2-mk3, but outside of that, it runs perfectly. The red buttons are flashing while i'm at the menu and they will eventually light up and show the working buttons for each game. I'm running a widescreen monitor because I could not find a working 4:3 that was not faded or shitty looking. Widescreen lcds are usually lame for old school games but MAME now supports high resolution art; this way, I'm displaying bezel art scanned from the real arcade cabs, so the 'non-gameplay' are filled with instruction cards, art, etc (as shown in the picture). It took me a while to build, but its really worth it. I need to find a light for the marquee still, but ebay has tons of usb lights.

It's bartop sized so its super portable and looks classy, and it looks pretty much pimp irl.

Anyhow, feel free to comment.

Nice, I need to get a cabinet of my own one day (preferably Astro City) when I'm not poor. My uncle has one and it is glorious.

Are those the Sega Candy Cabs?  I would love one as well, my problem is the room or lack thereof, living in a tiny one bedroom.

Part of my moving contract when I left japan was that they'd pay for me to ship my Astro City cab back to America. It now sits proudly in my big ass American apartment. OK USA

Virtua Fighter 2, SSF2T, some other CPS2 stuff, and an ST-V with Radiant Silvergun. Someday I need to pick up a Neo Geo though.
