My new neighbourhood has an online discussion board

While I'm sure in theory this is a great 21st century way to foster a sense of community, neighbourhood gossip is bad enough without it being multiplied by an anonymous message board.

I've only been browsing it five minutes, but have already seen "sense" spelled "sence" three times.

And one guy made a thread bitching about people keeping the Lot # papers on their house four years after the house has been built (which is f'ing distinguished mentally-challenged, granted)

someone took exception to this, saying:

"Unless you pay my taxes, you have no say in what I do with my house.  knock on my door and try telling me to remove my lot sign on my home and I will be more than happy to make you remove it with your teeth."
