never touched L4D,Portal,etc...never will,Valve would have to pay me to even look at them

I didn't realize Portal 2 was coming so soon. I'll probably go in with my brother on the Steam 2-pack [2 copies for $80].

I liked Portal but I liked it in the way you like an XBLA title. Perfect length and perfect price with the orange box. I'll be curious to see if it actually ends up feeling like a full price product.

Pretty much. I'm sure Portal 2 will end up feeling like a full price game, but I'm sure as hell not going to pay full price for another Portal. Gonna wait for multiple pricedrops or the $2 Steam sale this Christmas.

I'm replaying Portal to get hyped for the game and I found a site with a bunch of highly acclaimed Portal mods. I've only done Blue Portals: UP so far (the catch is your portal gun can only shoot blue portals, duh

) and the level design is generally well done, although everything else (the voice acting and so forth) feels amateurish.

Supposedly there the SP and MP campaigns are 6-8 hours each. So you're looking at 12-16 hours of content before challenge rooms, DLC and user mods.

Just means you can get Portal 2 for $40 without having to get a 2 pack [but you also have to spend $38 extra on a bunch of other games too].
